  • Communicating with providers in clinics to discuss prosthetic and orthotic needs and ordering practices
  • Evaluating patients to determine the most appropriate device design
  • Determining and providing HSS staff with appropriate L-codes for obtaining authorization or billing custom orthoses

  • Timely documentation of care provided in EPIC
  • Obtaining patient signatures on all necessary paperwork for billing
  • Communicating with patients and families about appropriate care and use for devices provided
  • Providing initial prosthetic care and education for patients transitioning to a bone anchored prosthesis
  • Participating in managing inventory
  • Performing patient chart reviews to confirm medical necessity and other necessary documentation is accurate for billing
  • Training providers or HSS staff on P&O workflows as needed

This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a developing hospital-based practice. We look forward to hearing from you. Medical benefits and a retirement plan are included. Salary will be commensurate to applicant's qualifications and experience.
