Make a difference every day by supporting Multilingual Learners near Denver, Colorado! We’re seeking an experienced educator to provide specialized instruction and academic support in a contract position for the current school year.

In this full-time role, you’ll focus on helping students whose primary language is not English develop skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Drawing on asset-based teaching principles, you’ll recognize and celebrate the rich linguistic and cultural backgrounds of your students. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with classroom teachers, ensuring that core academic content is accessible and relevant for all learners.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Colorado Initial or Professional Teaching License with a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) Endorsement
• Background in Special Education, General Education, or ESL/ESOL teaching
• Prior experience working with the ELAchieve curriculum strongly preferred
• Demonstrated classroom management skills
• Passion for asset-based teaching and inclusive education

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide English Language Development (ELD) instruction targeting all language domains
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt and differentiate academic content
• Foster a welcoming classroom environment where multiculturalism is valued
• Track language growth and academic progress, providing individualized support as needed
• Serve as an advocate for Multilingual Learners within the school community

You’ll work at one school location with a manageable caseload, and enjoy strong support from administration eager to onboard as soon as possible. Panel-style interviews are held in a relaxed, conversational format, speeding up the hiring process so you can start making an impact right away.
