Essential Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification appropriate for ESL/General Education instruction
• Previous experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in a K-12 environment
• Strong grasp of ESL methodologies and culturally responsive teaching practices
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds
• Highly organized, adaptable, and proactive in creating engaging lesson plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective ESL instruction to help students develop their English language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
• Assess student progress and tailor lessons to meet varying English proficiency levels
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support English learners in mainstream classrooms
• Establish a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and confidence
• Maintain accurate records of student achievements and participate in IEP or progress meetings as needed
• Actively engage with families and guardians to share student growth and strategies for continued learning at home
